Established in 1921, National University of Cherkasy is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Cherkasy (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Cherkasy Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National University of Cherkasy (ChNU) is a medium-sized coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution.
