Established in 1967, Naxcivan Dövlet Universiteti (Nakhchivan State University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Nakhchivan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Azerbaycan Respublikasi Tehsil Nazirliyi (Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan), Naxcivan Dövlet Universiteti (NDU) is a small coeducational Azerbaijani higher education institution. Naxcivan Dövlet Universiteti (NDU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. NDU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
