Established in 1994, Naxcivan Universiteti (Nakhchivan University) is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Nakhchivan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Azerbaycan Respublikasi Tehsil Nazirliyi (Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan), Naxcivan Universiteti (NU) is a coeducational Azerbaijani higher education institution. Naxcivan Universiteti (NU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. NU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
