Established in 2009, Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Arusha (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NMAIST) is a very small coeducational Tanzanian higher education institution. Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NMAIST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. NMAIST also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
