Founded in 1960, North-Eastern State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Magadan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Magadan Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, North-Eastern State University is a small coeducational Russian higher education institution. North-Eastern State University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
