Established in 1949, Northeast Electric Power University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Jilin (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Jilin Province, Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
