Established in 2000, Nyíregyházi Egyetem (University of Nyíregyháza) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Nyíregyháza (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg. Officially recognized by the Magyar Felsooktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság (Hungarian Accreditation Committee), Nyíregyházi Egyetem (NyE) is a coeducational Hungarian higher education institution. Nyíregyházi Egyetem (NyE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. NyE also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
