Founded in 1999, Okan Üniversitesi (Okan University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Istanbul. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Okan Üniversitesi is a large coeducational Turkish higher education institution. Okan Üniversitesi offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
