Founded in 1985, Osaka University of Tourism is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Kumatori (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Osaka. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Osaka University of Tourism is a coeducational Japanese higher education institution. Osaka University of Tourism offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
