Founded in 1992, Pamukkale Üniversitesi (Pamukkale University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Denizli (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Pamukkale Üniversitesi (PAU) is a very large coeducational Turkish higher education institution. Pamukkale Üniversitesi (PAU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. PAU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
