Founded in 2002, Panglong University is a higher-education institution located in the large town of Panglong (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Shan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education (Science and Technology) of Myanmar, Panglong University is a coeducational Burmese higher education institution. Panglong University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Panglong University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
