Established in 2000, Paññasastra University of Cambodia is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Phnom Penh (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Battambang, Siem Reap. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, Paññasastra University of Cambodia (PUC) is a large coeducational Cambodian higher education institution.
