Founded in 1989, Philadelphia University is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Amman (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, Philadelphia University (PU) is a small coeducational Jordanian higher education institution. Philadelphia University (PU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 33 years old Jordanian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
