Founded in 1892, Phranakhon Rajabhat University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Bangkok (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, Phranakhon Rajabhat University (PNRU) is a coeducational Thai higher education institution. Phranakhon Rajabhat University (PNRU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. PNRU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
