Founded in 1971, Phuket Rajabhat University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Phuket City (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Phuket. This institution also has a branch campus in Trang. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU) is a large coeducational Thai higher education institution. Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
