Established in 1922, Polissia National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Zhytomyr (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Zhytomyr Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Polissia National University (ZNAU) is a coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. Polissia National University (ZNAU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master degrees in several areas of study. This 100 years old Ukrainian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. ZNAU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
