Founded in 1904, Politechnika Gdanska (Gdansk University of Technology) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Gdansk (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Pomeranian Voivodeship. Officially recognized by the Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyzszego, Polsce (Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland), Politechnika Gdanska (PG/GUT) is a large coeducational Polish higher education institution. Politechnika Gdanska (PG/GUT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. PG/GUT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
