Established in 1966, Politechnika Opolska (Opole University of Technology) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Opole (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Opole Voivodeship. Officially recognized by the Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyzszego, Polsce (Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland), Politechnika Opolska (PO) is a large coeducational Polish higher education institution. Politechnika Opolska (PO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. PO also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
