Established in 1940, Precarpathian National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Ivano Frankivsk (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Precarpathian National University (PNU) is a large coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. Precarpathian National University (PNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. PNU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
