Founded in 2002, Putian University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Putian (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Fujian. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Fujian Province, Putian University (PTU) is a coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Putian University (PTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. PTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
