Established in 1953, Pyongyang University of Architecture and Building Materials is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Pyongyang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of North Korea, Pyongyang University of Architecture and Building Materials is a coeducational North Korean higher education institution. Pyongyang University of Architecture and Building Materials offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Pyongyang University of Architecture and Building Materials also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
