Established in 1983, Qazvin University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Qazvin (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Qazvin University of Medical Sciences (QUMS) is a small coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Qazvin University of Medical Sciences (QUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 39 years old Iranian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. QUMS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
