Founded in 1995, Qiqihar University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Qiqihar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Heilongjiang. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Heilongjiang Province, Qiqihar University is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Qiqihar University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
