Established in 1968, Rajin University of Marine Transport is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Rason (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Hamgyong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of North Korea, Rajin University of Marine Transport is a coeducational North Korean higher education institution. Rajin University of Marine Transport offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Rajin University of Marine Transport also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
