Established in 2001, Rangamati Science and Technology University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Rangamati (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Chittagong. Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) is a very small coeducational Bangladeshi higher education institution. Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 21 years old Bangladeshi higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. RMSTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, as well as administrative services.
