Founded in 1983, Regional Maritime University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Accra (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Greater Accra. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Regional Maritime University (RMU) is a coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution. Regional Maritime University (RMU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. RMU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
