Established in 2003, Royal University of Dhaka is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Dhaka (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Bashgari, Bhairab, Kishargang. Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Royal University of Dhaka (RUD) is a very small coeducational Bangladeshi higher education institution. Royal University of Dhaka (RUD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 19 years old Bangladeshi higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
