Established in 1931, Samarqand Iqtisodiyot va Servis Instituti (Samarkand Institute of Economics and Services) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Samarkand (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Samarqand. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Samarqand Iqtisodiyot va Servis Instituti (SamISI) is a small coeducational Uzbekistani higher education institution.
