Founded in 1901, San Beda University is a private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Manila (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), National Capital Region. This institution also has a branch campus in Alabang. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, San Beda University (SBU) is a large coeducational Philippine higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. San Beda University (SBU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. SBU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
