Founded in 2014, Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Pretoria (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Gauteng. Officially recognized by the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa, Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) is a small coeducational South African higher education institution. Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
