Established in 1994, Sehan University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Yeongam-gun (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South Jeolla. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Sehan University is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Sehan University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Sehan University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
