Established in 1995, Semipalatinsk State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Semey (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Kazakhstan Region. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Semipalatinsk State University (SSU) is a small coeducational Kazakhstani higher education institution. Semipalatinsk State University (SSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. SSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
