Founded in 1968, Seowon University is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Cheongju (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Chungcheong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Seowon University is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Seowon University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Seowon University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
