Founded in 2003, Shaheed Rabani Education University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Kabul (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, Shaheed Rabani Education University (SREU) is a small coeducational Afghan higher education institution. Shaheed Rabani Education University (SREU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. SREU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
