Established in 1983, Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences and Health Services is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Yazd (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences and Health Services is a small coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences and Health Services offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
