Established in 1986, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Shahrekord (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS) is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. SKUMS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
