Founded in 1958, Shandong University of Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Tai'an (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Shandong. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Shandong Province, Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) is a very large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
