Established in 1930, Showa University of Music is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Kawasaki (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kanagawa. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Showa University of Music is a coeducational Japanese higher education institution.
