Founded in 2012, Sindh Madresatul Islam University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Karachi (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Sindh. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Sindh Madresatul Islam University (SMIU) is a very small coeducational Pakistani higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Sindh Madresatul Islam University (SMIU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
