Founded in 1963, Sonoda Women's University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Amagasaki (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Hyogo. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Sonoda Women's University is a women only Japanese higher education institution. Sonoda Women's University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. Sonoda Women's University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
