Established in 1808, Soproni Egyetem (Sopron University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Sopron (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Gyor-Moson-Sopron. Officially recognized by the Magyar Felsooktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság (Hungarian Accreditation Committee), Soproni Egyetem is a coeducational Hungarian higher education institution.
