Established in 2008, South Eastern Kenya University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Kitui (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Commission for University Education of Kenya, South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) is a coeducational Kenyan higher education institution. South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. SEKU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
