Established in 1979, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Shymkent (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKSPhA) is a very small coeducational Kazakhstani higher education institution. South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKSPhA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. SKSPhA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
