Founded in 1916, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Calgary (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Alberta. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education of Alberta, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is a large coeducational Canadian higher education institution.
