Established in 1964, Southern Luzon State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Lucban (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Calabarzon. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) is a coeducational Philippine higher education institution. Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. SLSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
