Founded in 2014, Southern Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Basrah (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Basra. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq, Southern Technical University (STU) is a coeducational Iraqi higher education institution. Southern Technical University (STU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. STU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
