Founded in 1952, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Chengdu (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Sichuan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of The People's Republic of China, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. SWUFE also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
