Established in 1946, State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Yerevan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Gyumri, Dilijan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia (SAFA) is a men only Armenian higher education institution. State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia (SAFA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. SAFA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
