Founded in 1948, STI West Negros University is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Bacolod City (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Western Visayas. This institution also has a branch campus in Eroreco. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, STI West Negros University (WNC) is a large coeducational Philippine higher education institution. STI West Negros University (WNC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. WNC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
