Founded in 1987, Sunway University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large town of Petaling Jaya (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Selangor. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia), Sunway University is a coeducational Malaysian higher education institution. Sunway University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Sunway University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
